The pop-up banners on different aspects of the medieval history of St Mildred’s church were created as part of the taught Masters in Medieval and Early Modern Studies. The research was undertaken in the summer of 2020 by Beth Brown on this postgraduate degree programme and the banners are currently still on display in the church.
This virtual exhibition highlights key aspects of the medieval church’s development, which was founded before the Norman Conquest.
