Kent-Related Research Interests

I am particularly interested in the Jewish heritage of Kent, an often hidden and not well-known local history. In recent years, I have been working with the Thanet & District Reform Synagogue on a project about their Torah Scroll from Klatovy. The project explores how the memory of a Czech Jewish community murdered in the Holocaust is being kept alive by the Thanet Jewish Reform community in Ramsgate by a material object. I would be very keen to hear from anyone interested in getting involved in exploring and maintaining the rich Jewish heritage in Kent.
