I am the Subject Lead Tutor for Books and Library Materials at West Dean College of Arts, Design, Crafts and Conservation. As a library and archive conservator, I have a particular interest in material heritage and what it can tell us about objects, collections and the people who owned them.
This interest led me to undertake an MA by Research at Canterbury Christ Church University, based on the lost chattels and library collection of the Hammond family of St Albans Court, Nonington as seen through the probate inventory of the last incumbent, William Oxenden Hammond.
