A Heritage Learning Consultant who's worked in exciting collections, learning and engagement roles at the National Maritime Museum, Imperial War Museum, Canterbury Museums, Canterbury Cathedral and most recently as Engagement Officer at Dover's historic Maison Dieu (Dover Town Hall) as part of the £10.5 Reawakening the Maison Dieu National Lottery project.

Martin has a degree in History from Edinburgh University and a postgraduate diploma in Museum/Gallery Studies from St Andrews. He's a passionate advocate of hands-on and creative learning, inspired by artefacts and historic sites and of making museums accessible for SEND audiences. As Project Manager for the Medieval Animals Heritage project led by Canterbury Christ Church University, he's enjoyed working with a wonderful team to introduce SEND families in Kent to some fabulous beasties in carvings, stained glass and illuminated manuscripts!
