The event celebrates Kent’s rich ship and boat building heritage and also marks the 40th anniversary of the closure of Chatham Dockyard. From the Bronze Age Boat through the the contruction of vessels during the Second World War in Faversham the conference offers two days of talks and insight into the vessels, people and towns involved.
